FindWhat to Acquire Miva Merchant Software
In a departure from the frantic mergers and acquisition of search engine providers this year, FindWhat has announced plans to acquire Miva Corp., for $5.5 million in cash and stock, plus about $2.5 million in assumed debt. Miva is best known for its Miva Merchant software, which allows online merchants to create and manage their web storefronts. Currently Miva has more than 70,000 registered users.
