E-Commerce Grew 27.8% to $12.477B In Q2 2003
E-commerce increased 27.8 percent to $12.477 billion during the second quarter of 2003 compared to a year earlier, and a 4.6 percent increase in sales from the first quarter of 2003, according to the new estimates released from the Census Bureau of the Department of Commerce. This accounted for 1.5 percent of total retail sales, slightly above the 1.2 percent of total sales they represented in the second quarter of 2002.
